#1: Concept and Business Strategy
PROJECT:
Performed marketing analysis by identifying and testing key marketing statements and the positioning for a project information portal. The portal was targeted at the real estate and construction industries.
RESULT:
The product and its services were simplified, which significantly increased market readiness. Services were successfully launched and sold by my client within their 24 month delivery schedule.
#2: Market Validation Study
PROJECT:
Refined strategy and developed a business model for an online presence in the kitchen and bath markets. The tactics included one-on-one interviews with commercial and retail customers.
RESULT:
Based on our recommendations, our client decided to forego some of their planned business initiatives. Coincidentally the “dot com” bust began shortly after the project was completed. Fortunately, our client had taken our advice to incorporate our suggestions of further developing their storefront operations.
#3: Business Unit Communications Plan
PROJECT:
We defined the entire marketing and communication plans for the flagship products of a networking communications giant. Additionally, we defined and helped implement the supporting programs of the plan.
RESULT:
The product positioning that we developed was integral in successfully launching an entire family of products.
#4: Partner Program Development
PROJECT:
Spearheaded marketing and public relations activities by serving as the client's point of contact for a global alliance with Microsoft. Activities included analyst briefings, tradeshow coordination, and the participation on Microsoft's alliance launch team.
RESULT:
The program was successfully implemented which directly led to an additional $5M investment by Microsoft.
#5: Events Management
PROJECT:
Developed the tradeshow strategy and managed the logistics of the client's booth and an invitation-only executive briefing venue. Our unique strategy and efficient management resulted in a tenfold increase in qualified customer leads over previous events.
RESULT:
Attendance at the client’s briefing exceeded their goal by 50%!
#6: Salesforce Optimization
PROJECT:
The client was about to implement a community-based portal for its global salesforce and required validation of key concepts.
RESULT:
As a result of our recommendations, the functionality of the portal was augmented and resulted in greater measurable productivity.
